This page explains what LiveSpot collects, why it is needed, and how we handle account, location, partner, and support data.
What LiveSpot Collects
- Account information: email address, account type, profile display name, authentication provider metadata, and legal acceptance timestamps.
- Location information: location permission status and approximate or precise location when a user chooses nearby discovery features.
- App activity: saved events, followed venues, hidden venues, calendar-add state, content reports, account deletion requests, notifications, and interaction analytics such as views, shares, directions taps, calls, and ticket taps.
- Device and notification data: push notification tokens and device identifiers needed to deliver notifications.
- Partner content: venue profiles, event details, descriptions, images, ticket links, prices, and venue contact information submitted by partners or LiveSpot admins.
- Diagnostics: crash logs, performance data, and operational logs used to keep the app reliable.
How LiveSpot Uses Data
- To provide event discovery, map search, saved events, followed venues, hidden venues, notifications, and partner dashboards.
- To authenticate users and protect accounts.
- To moderate content, respond to reports, and process account deletion requests.
- To measure app performance, venue and event engagement, and operational usage.
- To comply with legal, safety, fraud-prevention, and store policy obligations.
Third-Party Services
LiveSpot may use providers such as Supabase, Firebase, Google Places, map tile providers, Apple services, Google services, and email or support tools. These providers process data only as needed to operate LiveSpot features.
Sharing
LiveSpot does not sell personal data. Data may be shared with service providers, legal authorities when required, or trusted internal admins who need access to operate support, moderation, and partner workflows.
Retention
LiveSpot keeps data while an account is active or while needed for app functionality, moderation, legal obligations, security, or fraud prevention. Account deletion requests are reviewed and processed through the LiveSpot compliance workflow.
User Choices
Users can update account details, request account deletion in the app, request account deletion through this page, report content, hide venues, and manage device permissions in system settings.
